Attack of the Stupid People

Well, Class last nite was neverending...4 hours... AHHH....Anyway not much new to report. Watching the simple life right now... GOD Paris Hilton is sooo stupid and Nicole Richie is her little sidekick....I mean really, who says that the first thing they want to do is go home and drive around and put their cell phone against their ear..... WHAT??? Yea thats cool.. atleast say your gonna call someone Paris......IDIOT... Anyway I wish I were that rich.....but oh well.....Today is crazy, dog sitting, babysitting, working in Westerly, going to West Warwick and then dinner with JP.. Lots to do...And whats with Jessica Simpson breaking plans with President Bush?? Apparently it is because she dosn't want to make a bad name for her chairty by being associated with the Rebublican Party... I bet if you asked Jessica what philosophies the Republican Party has and its major components are she would be like " What? Is that like really chicken?" UGGGHHH Anyway bad news though, no word yet on my friend missing from URI... Please pray for them.....

Is this what growing old means?


Well its been a while since I have posted anything.... Any guesses on why?? Yep, I am overworked and have nooooo time..But my weekend went pretty well.. I learned how to make pizza dough. It seemed easy enough but believe me, its a skill that must be learned through trial and error. Pizza anyone? Well speaking of pizza, I am a veteren of the wonderul KP or Kingston Pizza URI. It was a trp, and lots of fun and I made amazaing friends there, not to mention my boyfriend of 3 years. But this message comes with a bit of sadness. 3 students from URI have been missing since Monday March 13, when they took an adventure on a row boat off the Narragansett waters in 40 degree temperatures. Crazy, I know. I heard about it on the news, 2 guys and a girl and I remember thinking well it can't be anyone I know. But when I read the paper yesterday I was shocked, horrified and terribly sad. Fandia Shloul was among the missing. Fandia is also another KP whore whom everyone loves and adores. Although we did not hang out or party together, I always had a blast with her at work. I rememmber her trademark sandals in any weather, rain sleet or snow. That is why I am saddened because the coast guard found the row boat, an oar and a sandal. Why Fandia? Why did you get in that boat. That is the only question we dont have an answer to. It makes me scared to think it could have happened to me. I feel lucky that nothing like this happened to me in my 4 years of college, But buyer beware, college does not make you invinvible. Don't do stupid things and please, drink responsibly. I guess as you get older more and more bad things happen around you. But let's learn a lesson though all of this, Be safe, Be smart and Be cool, don't "look" cool just chill.....Is this what getting older is all about???

Morning Routines!~!!


Well the time is now 7:45am and I am at work already. After watching pointless and countless episodes of Will and Grace, Girlfriends, and The Parkers, I finally fell asleep around hmmmmmmm 3:30am. Although I was exhausted at around 10pm I could not fall asleep because my insides were still wired! Being overworked also means being overtired, at which point you feel tired but cannot sleep. BEEP BEEP BEEP my alarm goes off at 6am and naturally I hit snooze till about 6:30. Exhausted, feeling almost drunk, I stumble out of bed, start my car, and do the morning routine of teeth brushing and such. I packed my bags for a few days, as I do not know when I will be home again (boyfriend does not have a car so I crash at his place). It is extremely difficult to pack a bag not knowing what you will need.... I realized that this morning....Needless to say I think I brought the essentials, including all of my books for school tonite! 1st class of the trimester tonite.. OH YEA when I said I was going for my masters I forgot to say how intense it was.. Not only do I have trimesters, but I have class for 10 weeks in the summer!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH I will be finished with 3 degrees in 18 months..... OK Anyway I am at work now watching Saved By The Bell,,, ever notice how there is nothing on TV at 7:45am??? Next will be 2 episodes of Designing Women followed by the Golden Girls......whoo hooo!! Well that was my morning.. More to come tomorrow!!!!

InTRO!!!!!!


OK, so after reading my friends blog on what it means to be a girl, I decided to write my own blog. I am not writing this in hopes to be a writer or in hopes to be published, I'm just writing this to vent out my fustrations on being an overworked 20 something, and hopefully realizing that I am not the only one... So.... comments are always welcome!
Lets start with my background. I am, and always will be a Long Islander, however I am currently working and living and going to school in Lovely Rhode Island!! I am a full time graduate student, receiving three, yup thats 3, certifications in elementary education, elementary special education, and secondary special education! Woah, thats a mouthfull... After spending 4 years in college getting my fine arts degree, I decided that I wanted to stay in school forever.... or atleast thats what it seems like. No, I don't want to stay in school forever, but I realized that there was nothing that I could to with my degree other than being a starving artist... or a grumpy college art professor... I wish someone would have told me that earlier.. But anyway Yes, I am getting my masters! As is that is not enough of a work load for me, I work at a convienent store, 25 miles away from my house, and I watch 2 kids before and after school, 25 miles away from my hosue in the other direction. Whew, thats alot of driving and working... But yes I try and have some time for a life so I go to karaoke hmmmm about 40 miles away from my house 2 times a week. AAAnnnnddd I have a boyfriend who lives 40 miles from my house, Oh yea, and he doesnt have a car..... so needless to say I am a very overworked 20 something who spends most of her time working and in her car and not enough time sleeping and being a normal person!!! Well thats my introduction and I will write about my days in blogs to come!!! Thanks all for reading my blogs, and as always, comments, good or bad, are always welcome!!!
